On a sun-drenched Thursday morning at Madison High’s Jim Myers Stadium July 25, nearly 200 kids were running football drills up and down the field as the sounds of laughter, whistles blowing and the song “Gangnam Style” filled the air.

A new program at Madison High allows students to earn credit toward a two-year associate degree through Rochester College, or up to 64 transferable college credits. High school will take an extra year, but by the time they earn their diploma, they will already have their two-year associate degree a full year early.
